Achievements
State Disaster Management Plan (SDMP) has been prepared by Disaster Management & Relief Department and approved by State Executive Committee (SEC) on dated 26.03.2014 and by State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) on 08.07.2014
State Disaster Management Policy has been prepared by Disaster Management & Relief Department and approved by State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) on 08.07.2014
On the basis of Girdawari report received from district collectors A total of 13,094 villages (10225 villages of 17 districts in Kharif Crop and 2869 villages of 22 districts) of Rajasthan has been declared as scarcity affected for the Samvat 2070.
A total of 168 cattle camps (35 thousand cattle), 488 goshalas (1.24 lakh cattle) have been sanctioned in the scarcity affected districts of Rajasthan in the year 2013-14.
An expenditure of Rs. 49430 lacs has been made for Input Subsidy distribution to farmers for damage of their crop in the financial year of 2013-14 (Dec., 2013 to March 2014)
Rs. 52276 lacs has been spent to execute relief activities in the financial year 2013-14 (Dec, 2013 to March, 2014)
To develop search, rescue and communication set-up and purchase of equipments, an amount of Rs. 769.99 lacs have been made available in the financial year 2014-15.
Administrative Sanction has been issued of Rs. 485.56 lacs in the financial year 2014-15 under capacity building plan.
On the basis of Girdawari report received from district collectors A total of 14,163 villages of 32 districts (5841 villages of 13 districts in Kharif Crop and 8322 villages of 29 districts) of Rajasthan has been declared as scarcity affected for the Samvat 2071.
A total of 462 cattle camps (82 thousand cattle), 1206 goshalas (4.04 lakh cattle) have been sanctioned in the scarcity affected districts of Rajasthan in the year 2014-15
An expenditure of Rs. 135126 lacs has been made for Input Subsidy distribution to farmers for damage of their crop in the financial year of 2014-2015
Rs. 1,57,057 lacs has been spent to execute relief activities in the financial year 2014-15
On the basis of Girdawari report received from district collectors A total of 14,790 villages (14487 villages of 19 districts in Kharif Crop and 303 villages of 11 districts) of Rajasthan has been declared as scarcity affected for the Samvat 2072
A total of 3,336 cattle camps (5,67,469 cattle), 1099 goshalas (4,56,148) and 180 fodder depots have been sanctioned in the scarcity affected districts of Rajasthan in the year 2015-16.
An expenditure of Rs. 2,22,110 lacs has been made for Input Subsidy distribution to farmers for damage of their crop in the financial year of 2015-16
Rs. 2,55,918 lacs has been spent to execute relief activities in the financial year 2015-16
Monsoon Year 2015 : A total of 8 persons were rescued by airforce helicopter from different places and total 9388 persons were rescued by NDRF/ SDRF/ RAC/ Army and local administration
To provide assistance to stranded people in Nepal Earthquake dated 25.04.2015, two teams from the State had been sent . A total of 496 persons had been safely sent to their destination. State govt. had sent relief material by 47 trucks.
On the basis of Girdawari report received from district collectors A total of 5,713 villages of 15 districts (5656 villages of 13 districts in Kharif Crop and 57 villages of 4 districts) of Rajasthan has been declared as scarcity affected for the Samvat 2073
A total of 1424 goshalas (5,05,003 cattle) and 17 cattle camps (3266 cattle) have been sanctioned in the scarcity affected districts of Rajasthan in the year 2016-17.
An expenditure of Rs. 181557 lacs has been made for Input Subsidy distribution to farmers for damage of their crop in the financial year of 2016-17
Rs. 2,05,434 lacs has been spent to execute relief activities in the financial year 2016-17
Monsoon Year 2016 : A total of 97 persons were rescued by airforce helicopter from different places and total 1501 persons were rescued by NDRF/ SDRF/ RAC/ Army and local administration. Total 13508 persons stayed in 48 relief camps.
On the basis of Girdawari report received from district collectors A total of 6954 villages of 16 districts of Rajasthan in Kharif Crop has been declared as scarcity affected for the Samvat 2074.
On the basis of Girdawari report received from district collectors A total of 25 villages of Ganganagar and Sikar districts due to hailstorm in Rabif Crop has been declared as scarcity affected for the Samvat 2074.
A total of 6000 cattle benefitted in 30 cattle camps and 1193 goshalas 4,33,684 cattle have been sanctioned in the scarcity affected districts of Rajasthan in the year 2017-18.
An expenditure of Rs. 153789.23 lacs has been made for Input Subsidy distribution to farmers for damage of their crop in the financial year of 2017-18
A total of rs. 2,00,829 lacs has been allotted to execute relief activities in the financial year 2017-18
Monsoon Year 2017 : A total of 42 persons were rescued by Airforce helicopter from different places and total 2479 persons were rescued by NDRF/ SDRF/ RAC/ Army/ Home Guards/ Civil Defence and local administration. Total 1870 persons stayed in 38 relief camps.
An amount of Rs. 718.80 lakh in financial year 2016-17 and Rs. 3790.879 lakh in financial year 2017-18 has been sanctioned for search & rescue, capacity building and training head.
Crisis Management Plan for Drought has been prepared.
A total of 1,86,917 cattle of 286 declared cattle camp has been sanctioned till 23.05.2018
Total 1556 roads of 16 district in the year 2013, 1176 roads of 7 districts in the year 2014, 2058 roads of 12 districts in the year 2015, 5273 roads of 25 districts in the year 2016, 1827 roads of 9 districts in the year 2017 road repair and restoration works has been sanctioned.
For repair and restoration of damage water resource structures due to flood 312 works of 10 districts in the year 2013, 251 works of 10 districts in the year 2014, 631 works of 9 districts in the year 2015, 293 works of 5 districts in the year 2016 and 263 works of 1 districts in the year 2017 have been sanctioned.
Guidelines on Minimum Standard of Relief for Victims of Disaster has been issued by the department in compliance of Section 19 of Disaster Management Act, 2005
Online budget allotments as per demand of district collectors are being done through online web application http://www. dmrd.rajasthan.gov.in. This web application is integrated with IFMS.
Goshalas sanction process is successfully done through online web application.
State Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (SPDRR) is constituted in the State as National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (NPDRR) is constituted by NDMA.
